Black Teas and Blends

Sort by:

Black teas (also known as “red” teas in China) are fully-oxidized teas with a very hearty flavor and a coppery-red color of the liquor they produce.  Methods of production and varieties of black teas vary significantly from region to region but the tea processing always includes four main basic steps – withering, rolling, oxidizing, and firing (or drying).  Black tea is the most popular tea in the West. It can be taken with milk and sugar or lemon, and blends well with various herbs and flavorings. It’s a wonderful morning tea for those who don’t care much for coffee.
