Use 1 tsp per 8 oz cup of boiled water. Steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer it steeps the stronger the tea).
Food Pairing:
Maté pairs well with cheesy dishes, like cheddar cheese grits, grilled corn-on-the-cob with cheese and lime, parmesan-laden baked polenta and cheese empanadas. Oatmeal with butter and brown sugar or pancakes go well with Yerba Maté.

The full-bodied beverage presents deep vegetal overtones with hints of green tea grassiness. We’re pleased to offer Organic Unroasted Green Maté from Brazil. Cancheada grade Maté is larger leafed maté and as such is perfect for repeated brewing – the larger leaf holds in the flavor.
